Meeting Manchester’s Climate Change Targets Through a Data-Driven Approach
For my bachelor’s thesis, I built a Python model to forecast transport patterns in Manchester and evaluate policy options for reducing emissions. This project was in partnership with the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change and The Manchester City Council.
The project combined large-scale datasets with regression modelling to test real-world interventions. Beyond the technical side, I explored how data can guide urban climate strategies. The work was awarded distinction and sparked my passion for data-driven solutions.
